EDITORIAL - TALENTO COLOMBIANO - CAMBIO MAGAZINE - ARCHIVES.

COLOMBIAN TALENT

It has become customary that the designs of John Miranda close with a flourish the Colombiamoda catwalks. If last year caused a sensation with a tiny bikini of flowers, this year, glared with one of hats "vueltiaos". On both occasions the model selected was Yalile Osorio, not only for his sculpted body but because it is one of the few who dare to wear so bold designs on the catwalks. Already we hear betting about what will show Miranda at the next opportunity.

EDITORIAL - COLOMBIA TEXTIL - CROMOS MAGAZINE - ARCHIVES.

COLOMBIA TEXTILE

DECADENT ROMANCE: "With Protela fabrics and lycra from Dupont, the designer John Miranda made a tribute to all women in the world through of his collection 'romanticism of past centuries'. Listed as creative work and a very high level, where textures for swimwear were the sensation. These designs made entirely by hand, with small rhombs, quilts and tight to the body, they are simulating a beautiful antique forniture.

The most prominent colors were the white, black, grapes and roses combined with blondas and lace, gave to the John Miranda lingerie, a romantic sheen and daring.

This collection also was marked by strong textures and prints designs of corsets, inspired by Imperial China, which recreated the Kitsch trend of the brothels of the beginning of the century". by Amparo Diaz Pinilla.

 COVER - THE MODELING WORLD

"They are not the most beautiful but they are whom more sell. Their bodies behind a camera are their work tool. They are exposed to drugs, to hear all kinds of compliments, and suggestions and to live a world of fantasy. But they are of flesh and blood. We found unusual cases that are examples of overcoming. The big top models confessed us, your dreams. And we introduce which promise to be the best in the end of the century.

The textile companies and designers combined their talent and beauty of their fabrics to create what can be called the most important Colombian fashion catwalk.

Protela leave it in John Miranda hands the presentation of their fabrics. Definitely Miranda born to design elastic clothes, and swimsuits. Although I found it a bit long, it was a feast for the eyes. Inspired by the waves of the sea, the swimsuits undulated with the rhythm of the models.

DEL CIRCO A LA PLAYA (CIRCUS TO THE BEACH) - ALO MAGAZINE.

  • Goodbye to bright colors, rods and cups that print bust and rounded figure. That all is out in a matter of swimwear. The global trend it cis sport, simple, natural lines and, above all, very comfortable.  BY PATRICIA ANDRADE

"Back, way back remained the suggestive swimsuit, helped with rods, cups, stuffed and on a number of devices. Today informality prevails, the simplicity  and color, in order to satisfy a woman without complexes that likes comfort and freedom. Thinking about it, the costeño designer, "assembled" in Medellin, John Miranda, decided to draw inspiration from the circus, that legendary show where acrobatics, exercise, rhythm, joy are the keys elements. With this international trend, Miranda developed for Dupont a circus collection using multicolored materials, but matt, imitating tents, awnings, kaleidoscopes but remembering, of course, the most celebrated mime, Pierrot, with costumes in black and white. Or the harlequin, the comic character of the Italian comedy, always dressed in multicolored costumes pictures"

  • The costumes of John Miranda for Dupont have a marked avant-garde trend.

  • Among the warm tones also predominantly the yellow.

  • Bikinis, that this season tend to disappear, they go in black and white tones, fromando a board of ajedrez.
